Mrs. Whittington started her nursing career in 2006 as a critical care nurse. She has since experienced caring for the person throughout their lifespan ranging from post-partum/women’s health to geriatrics. Mrs. Whittington advanced her career becoming a WHNP where she realized her love was in education. Mrs. Whittington has a passion for education and educating the future generation of nurses. Currently, she teaches Advanced Health Deviations and Clinical Interventions in the traditional BSN program and Management and Leadership in Nursing in the RN-BSN STEP program. Outside of work, she enjoys attending church and spending time with her husband and four children.
